US 41 from West of Lychee Road to South of East Bay Street: Construction project: Crews are milling and resurfacing US 41 from west of Lychee Road to south of East Bay Street in Sarasota County. In addition to resurfacing, crews will perform shoulder treatment and apply new signing and pavement markings. The project limits cover approximately 3.1 miles.
· Motorists can expect temporary nighttime lane closures throughout the project.
On US 41 northbound, the outside lane will be closed from 6:30 p.m. on September 29 through 7 a.m. on September 30 from Market Way to approximately 500 feet south of Market Way.
On US 41 southbound, the outside lane will be closed from 6:30 p.m. on September 29 through 7 a.m. on September 30 from Market Way to approximately 500 feet south of Market Way.
On US 41 northbound, the inside lane will be closed from 6:30 p.m. on September 30 through 7 a.m. on October 1 from Market Way to approximately 500 feet south of Market Way.
On US 41 northbound, the outside lane and turn lanes will be closed from 6:30 p.m. on October 1 through 7 a.m. on October 11 from Preto Boulevard to Woodmere Road. Closures will take place Monday through Friday only.

In addition to resurfacing, crews will perform shoulder treatment and apply new signing and pavement markings. The project limits cover approximately .5 miles.
