SR 758 Bee Ridge Road at the Legacy Trail: Construction project: Crews are constructing two new pedestrian bridges and intersection improvements along the Legacy Trail in Sarasota County.

• Lane closures: Through the month of April and May, there will be occasional east and westbound lane closures during the day between the hours of 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Detours: The next detours are expected on April 30 and May 1. Motorists can expect scheduled detours east and westbound on Bee Ridge Road from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. The detours are necessary so crews can conduct overhead bridge construction and eventually remove the existing roadway crosswalk, once the bridge is open. There may be intermittent detours during May to complete construction operations.

Final project completion is expected in June 2025.

• Detours: The next detours are expected from May 4 through May 8  Motorists can expect scheduled detours east and westbound on Clark Road from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. The detours are necessary so crews can conduct overhead bridge construction and eventually remove the existing Legacy Trail crosswalk at Clark Road. There will be intermittent detours during May to complete construction operations
• Project completion is expected in June 2025.
