I-75 From South of Bonita Beach Road to North of Alico: Construction Project: Nighttime Lane closure operations will continue Sunday Nights through Thursday Nights for resurfacing operations for the next few months.
Beginning Sunday night, July 13, motorists can expect the northbound RSW Off-Ramp (RSW Direct Connect) to the Terminal Access Road to be closed during the nighttime/overnight hours for paving. Motorists will need to utilize the posted detour.
Motorists traveling northbound on I-75 who want to access the Terminal Access Road can detour to Alico Road (Exit 128) eastbound and then travel northbound on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway until they reach Terminal Access Road.
Motorists traveling northbound on I-75 who want to access the Terminal Access Road can detour to Daniels Parkway (Exit 131) eastbound and then travel southbound on Treeline Avenue until they reach Terminal Access Road.
Beginning Monday, July 14, through Tuesday, July 15, 2025, motorists can expect the northbound Collector Distributor Ramp and lanes to be closed during the nighttime/overnight hours for paving. Motorists will need to utilize the posted detour.
Motorists traveling northbound on I-75 who want to access the Collector Distributor northbound towards the airport can detour to Alico Road (Exit 128) eastbound and then travel northbound on Ben Hill Griffin Parkway until they reach Terminal Access Road.
Motorists should expect to see daytime outside shoulder closures of the northbound and southbound shoulders between the Estero Parkway overpasses and Corkscrew Road interchange (MM 124 to MM 123). This is for contractor access for box culvert cleanout and maintenance.
Daytime activities will include installation of sign bases and conduit installation for I.T.S. items.
This work will be performed during the daytime from inside the right-of-way, away from the travel lanes or behind shoulder closures as needed.
The current work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
