Detours Scheduled for State Road/County Road 951/Collier Boulevard for Bridge Beam Installation over State Road 84/Davis Bouelvard/Beck Boulevard in Collier County
NAPLES, Fla. – Beginning on Sunday night, Dec. 7, and continuing intermittently over the next two weeks, crews will be setting beams for the elevated roadway over the State Road (S.R.) 84/Davis Boulevard/Beck Boulevard intersection. Although work is scheduled during nighttime/overnight hours, construction activity and lane closures will continue to occur throughout daytime hours. Next week, detours are scheduled for Sunday, Dec.7, Tuesday, Dec. 9, and Thursday, Dec. 11. During the closures, traffic will use Business Circle South and Market Street as a detour. Please use alternate routes if possible. There will be heavy construction activity and law enforcement presence.
This work is part of FDOT’s project to reconstruct the I-75 at S.R. 951 (exit 101) interchange with the goal of improving highway operations, safety, and regional mobility. Work includes building elevated lanes over the S.R. 84/Davis Boulevard/Beck Boulevard intersection at S.R./County Road (C.R.) 951/Collier Boulevard with southbound I-75 on- and off-ramp connections and a northbound I-75 on-ramp connection at S.R. 951.
