BRADENTON, Fla. –The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will permanently close the left-hand turn lane on US 41 Business from 6th Avenue West to Manatee Avenue/SR 64 on Friday, May 2, if weather permits. Crews will continue to work on the medians, with intermittent lane closures from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. throughout the project. As an alternate route, motorists can turn left on 8th Avenue West and turn right onto 10th Street West going northbound and then make a left onto Manatee Avenue/SR 64.
